Dogs of the North The Photo Album Chief and His Toys

There are some very funny games that happen with toys in our house. Chief and Kira absolutely love soft toys that make noises. Adam and Duffy introduced soft toys to Chief and Kira and they have been playing with them (and occasionally destroying them) ever since. Chief and Kira will collect toys and sit on their beds with them. Chief likes to try and get the toys from Kira. He will sneak up on her whenever he thinks she is distracted, but almost always she will warn him off with a little growl and he will slink away. Some of the toys simply squeak but the really cool ones - the ones that they love the most, make all kinds of wonderful noises. In this picture, Chief has the bus or the taxi (I am not sure which). When squeezed, it makes a wonderful noise including the motor turning over and the horn beeping. Occasionally Chief and Kira will each have the bus and the taxi and they will be sounding them together. The resulting cacophony sounds realistically like a traffic jam with discordant horns blaring at one another. On one occasion, Kira lay down on top of the bus. It kept sounding over and over. It was driving Chief mad because he wanted it and he could see it underneath Kira's leg. Of course every time he tried to get it she would warn him off. It was hilarious to watch.
